Itasca Band Advances to Area Finals in Bastrop, TX
Saturday, October 29th marked the end of the marching band season for the Itasca High School band! The early mornings, restless nights, and after school practices led the Itasca High School Band to the area finals in Bastrop, Texas. Together and nervous for the 6 p.m. announcements, Itasca was called for advancement to the area finals, placing 10th overall. It has been eight years since this accomplishment has been made! The band marched again for the second time that night, and it went very well! Although, Itasca didn’t advance further to State, they placed 10th overall in the area final, making this a great achievement! The Itasca High School marching band would like to thank everyone who was involved and supported them throughout the year. Let’s see what next year’s season has in store for our amazing Wampus Cat band!
