The Hill County 4-H Shooting Sports Club competed at the District 8 Rifle Competition on Saturday, April 29th. Hill County was represented well by 28 competitors who showed up and showed out. We had two teams of senior shooters, both competing for a chance to advance to the Texas 4-h Roundup Rifle Match, a state-level competition held June 2-4 in Victoria, Texas.

Congratulations to the senior team, Lea Soule, Dakota Manaseri, Katie Whitehouse, and Mason Tibbs, for placing second in the precision rifle discipline and advancing to Roundup!!
