Haylyn Brooke Barnard would best describe herself as “cheerful, happy, and loving”. She was born December 17, 2005 in Hillsboro, TX and is currently 17 years old. She is the daughter of Veronica Barnard. Haylyn attended the Itasca school district in 6th grade, left, and came back during her sophomore year of high school. Haylyn is involved in cheerleading, band, and National Honor Society.
Haylyn plans to become a dental assistant after graduation. Her advice for the underclassmen is to “always try your best, even if you feel like giving up.” Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Mears, and her grandma is her role model because she has always been there through tough times. She wants to thank her grandma (Kelly Barnard) for getting her this far in life. Haylyn plans on attending a dental academy, and in 10 years, she sees herself married and working as an RDA.
