April Cheyenne Battleson was born on July 21, 2006 in Fort Worth, Texas to Tammy and Richard Battleson. Her siblings are Micheal (19), Jennifer, Michelle (28), and Stephanie (29). She has attended Itasca since Pre-K, and she participates in Yearbook, Band, UIL, and Class Council. Her advice to the underclassmen is to “enjoy high school, because it goes by quickly.”
Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Mears and Mr. Looper, and her role model is her mom and best friend. She would like to thank her friends for getting her this far in life.
After graduation, April plans to attend Hill College. In 10 years, she sees herself working her dream job, with a home and a family.
