The Paw Print Press interviewed a handful of teachers. We asked them what made them the happiest this week and why. Here are their responses!
Coach Chaffin- “There’s a lot of stuff that I can say made me happy throughout the week, but what I would say tops them all is the cheaper gas prices at Hillsboro. I travel a long way to and from work daily, So knowing that I can pay a little less for gas truly made me happy.”
Ms. Rodriguez- “Getting all my packages! I love ordering stuff. I kinda have a shopping addiction.”
Mrs. Speer- “I ordered two Dalmatian puppies for myself that I am picking up in October. I had one when I was a child, and I always wanted another one.”
Ms. Bankston- “I’m excited that my birthday is on Sunday. I’ll be turning the big 30!”
Ms. Lunsford- “I got sent some really cute pictures of my grand-puppies and I really love them that’s why it made me happy.”
Mr. Looper- “ I had some Juniors for their English class ask me to write them letters of recommendation for college, and scholarship opportunities. It’s nice to know that I made an impact on the students and that they think that I would be helpful in their future educational goals.”
Mr. Benson- “I found a jar of pickles! I really like pickles!”
Mrs. Floria- “I work in this high school so I get to see all the wonderful girls and boys everyday.“
Mrs. Holly- “Today is my daughter’s 25th birthday so we are having cake and birthday supper tonight, and I’m real excited for that!“
Mrs. Kim Pat- “A sweet girl came up to me and asked me a question. She was very polite.“
Mr. Patterson- ” College football was on T.V., and I love watching college football!“
Happy birthday to Ms. Bankston and Mrs. Holly’s daughter! Sending you both birthday wishes from the PAW PRINT PRESS!
