Willie “Buddy” Jackson (17) was born on January 22nd, 2007 in Hillsboro, TX to his parents Willie and Teresa Jackson. He is the youngest of three, with a sister and brother named Alyssa Jackson (19) and Jeff Knight (23). He best describes himself as, “athletic, confident, and hardworking.” Something interesting about him is that enjoys fishing.

Buddy has attended Itasca ISD since Pre-K and is currently involved in Basketball, football, baseball, track, golf, and NHS. His favorite teachers he’s had at Itasca are Mrs. Grogan, Mrs. Shipman, Mrs. Brown, and Mrs. Quijano. His advice for the underclassmen is, “Show up and shut up.”

Buddy’s role model is his dad. When asked who has made a difference in his life, he said his coaches. He would like to thank God for helping him get this far. After graduation, he plans to either follow a sports scholarship or go to UT Austin to major in cybersecurity.

In 10 years, Buddy sees himself going far away and being successful.
