This week, we will be talking about unexpected crimes that you probably didn’t know were crimes, until now!
- Writing a $1 check. 6 months in prison.
- Transporting dentures across state lines. 1 year in jail.
- Roller skating in an undesignated area of a National park. 6 months in jail.
- Mislabeling “Turkey Ham.” 1 year in jail.
- Issuing a false weather report. 3 months in jail.
- Taking a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Smartphone on a plane (because this phone has been reported to blow up numerous times.) 10 years in federal prison with a fine of up to $179,933!
- No lights on your bicycle.
- Eating while driving.
In Alabama, it is illegal to walk down the street with an ice cream cone in your pocket. This is so you won’t lure houses or any other animals!
In Alaska, it is illegal to wake up a sleeping bear, However, it is legal to shoot it.
In Arkansas, it is illegal to mispronounce the state name.
In California, it is illegal to wear cowboy boots. You can only wear them if you own at least two cows.
In Delaware, it is illegal for kids to trick-or-treat before 6 p.m. or after 8 p.m. The only exception is if Halloween falls on the weekend!
