On Saturday, December 14, the streets of downtown Itasca were filled with community members, laughter, and fellowship as Itascans anxiously waited for the sounding of sirens to commence the Christmas parade. Kids had their eyes set upon the Grinch, Bluey, and the flashing lights and sounds of the local fire trucks, and ultimately- Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Participants included: the Itasca ISD Elementary campus, High School NHS, Student Council, Yearbook/Paw Print Press, Varsity Cheer, JH and HS Basketball teams, the Itasca Cemetery Association, Itasca Volunteer Fire Department, Hilco, ATDS Truck, motorcycles, UTV & ATVS, and so many more!
After the parade, one by one children lined up to take their picture with the Grinch, Santa, and Mrs. Claus! Itascans enjoyed Tom’s Coffee, food, and fellowship! The Itasca Paw Print Press & Yearbook team enjoyed the parade! We are really excited about showcasing more of the big, little town of Itasca after the Christmas break!
