On December 16, 2024, a board meeting was held at the Community center.

In attendance:

John Rhea- President of the IYA Board

Monica Rhea- IYA Treasurer

Anita Ponce- IYA Secretary

Bernard Jackson- IYA Vice President and Football Coordinator

Willie Jackson- Basketball Programmer

Victoria Botello- Softball coordinator and Fundraising Committee

John Prescott-Baseball coordinator and Fundraising Committee

Absent members:

Reuben Littlejohn- Fundraising Committee

The board is looking for a new fundraising committee chairman.

The overall topic of discussion was sports registration, end dates, and fees!

Baseball and softball registration starts next month.

Victoria Botello- “If you signed up with a different town because we didn’t have it, then you have to go back and fix that in that town before you start in another one.”

Registration for baseball starts January 7th, 2025, and the season begins April 1st. QR codes will be created via THEPAWPRINTPRESS and posted on our website for parents and guardians who wish to fulfill payment plans online for sports! There will be a monthly payment, totaling about $ 30 for three months.

The board is looking for aid in baseball and is thinking about creating a committee for it.

To download birth certificates, you take a photo, attach it to a file, and submit it online!

Prescott and Botello are working on cleaning out the concession stands and getting all softball and baseball equipment ready for use.

Registration for basketball is closed.

The IYA is meeting with the superintendent for further discussion!
