On 2/12/25, Itasca hosted another home powerlifting meet with five schools, including Itasca, attending the event. Originally, the event was supposed to be held on 2/13/25, but it was moved back a day due to certain circumstances. The meet surprisingly went smoothly and fast despite the belated start as the event ended in around 4 hours. In comparison, other meets would take around 6 hours or so due to the high number of schools attending.
Congrats to all of our Wampus Cat lifters for competing. Although some came up short, they lifted as hard as they could. Those who completed the meet were all placed top 5 and above in their respective weight classes. Thank you to those who came out during the week break to help at the meet! Go cats!
