We are starting a new series to introduce our beloved staff members to give them recognition for the work they do for the Paw Print Press/Yearbook. Today the first person being interviewed is Leah Moreno! She is a writer for the Paw Print Press, as well as a photographer.
Her favorite part of being a member of the Paw Print Press is seeing the process of how the Yearbook is made, as well as seeing the effort made to make our website into the story filled place it is. Some of Leah’s hobbies include writing, painting, and journaling.
From the many memories she’s made being in the Paw Print Press, one of her favorite memories is from when she was the head of the “I’m Thankful For…” series because she enjoyed being able to see what people wrote what they were most thankful for, especially the younger ones.
Leah’s role model is her father, who she says is a very hard worker and very passionate about his work. Her advice for students who are joining the Yearbook or Paw Print Press is, “be creative, be yourself, be hardworking.”
The Paw Print Press is so lucky to have someone as hardworking and kind as Leah!
