Today I have interviewed Parker Dugan, a sophomore at Itasca HS, and he decided to share his “Unforgettable Moment”
“My unforgettable moment was in my first year in church camp. I was just a little 6th grader and I had signed up for one of the games they would host everyday, but you wouldn’t know what the games were until you got on the stage to play. The game was “Try Not To Laugh” and they had these different categories on the board. So it would be you vs. another person and it was like a tournament style. So when I was chosen to be on the stage, my category was TikTok dances. I did the renegade and pretended that I punched myself which made the other person laugh cause it was kinda funny. And it just made my whole camp experience really good because afterwards everyone really knew me and it made me kinda popular, because of how I won the game. Even though I did embarrass myself I didn’t care because I still won.”
Out of Parker’s entire experience the few things he had recalled was holding his “big ol’ trophy” and the crowd hyping him up as he walked down the stage. Something he wishes he could go back in time is to go back and keep in contact with all the friends he made. Advice he would like to give if anyone faces a similar experience is to just accept the hype cause it’ll help you get more friends.
