High School Teacher- Mrs. Innis –

By: Freshman Journalism Student- Fedra Garza

Since teacher appreciation week is getting closer, let’s talk about a teacher that I am thankful for, about her life, and who/how she really is. The teacher I chose is my 7th period teacher Mrs. Innis, who I think is a great role model for students. She was born in Fort Worth, TX, and after high school, she went to Texas A&M Commerce for General Studies and Sociology. She chose to teach math because she’s good at math and likes it very much. She has three kids; Micah (17), Madison, Hunter (12). She is easy to learn with and won’t leave you out if you don’t understand something. She is a really great teacher, and I’m thankful I was taught by her, she made it easy to understand.
