If you live in Itasca, you probably already know that we are known as the “Little, Big town”. Even though we are “little”, we still know how to have fun! So, today I’m here to tell you about some fun hangout spots here in Itasca!
Sonic Drive-In/Shell
If you need to pump gas, grab a snack or even just some good AC, Itasca’s Shell is the place for you. Not only is the gas station open 24/7, but you’ll also find that it also has a Sonic! Inside, there is a perfect sitting area to eat your food and chat with your friends! But if you’d prefer to stay in your car, no worries because there is a drive-thru!
W.T. Crouch Park
Next is the W.T. Crouch Park! This park is fun for people of any age. It has a little sitting area to rest in, as well as a basketball court in the park. This spot is more popular than the gas station so you’ll find a lot of the Itasca ISD students hanging around there!
Old Towne Country Store
Lastly, It is the Old Towne Country Store! This place is located more in town, and is kind of like a grocery store merged with a bakery. But, not just that, they have an amazing deli area toward the back where you can grab a sandwich AND a seating area to enjoy your food! Not to mention their welcoming customer service!
