Next in line for our Staff Spotlights is Kaylee Cordell!
Kaylee is currently a sophomore here at Itasca High, and is involved in Paw Print Press (PPP), which she is currently the Editor of!
Her favorite part about being apart of PPP is getting to know everyone better and building a team with everyone she works with; she also enjoys taking pictures for sports and events in the community. Kaylee’s favorite memory from her time being in PPP is a tie between either the field trip we recently took to the Fort Worth Zoo or when she helped out with picture day.
Some of her hobbies outside of school include theatre, singing, playing piano, and listening to music. A fun fact about her is that in her spare she enjoys tap dancing, and has been taking tap classes for over a year!
Her role model is her mom because she admires how hardworking, caring, thoughtful, and dedicated she is.
When asked what advice she had for students who are considering joining, she responded, “The writing and taking pictures of it all is definitely fun, but it’s more than that; it’s about dedication and commitment.”
Our staff is very grateful to have such a responsible and reliable Editor who always keeps us on track!
