On 4/16/25 all 6 FFA students participated and competed in Chisholm Trail District Convention. These students competed in one of the most competitive speaking districts in Area 8 for Prepared Speaking, and in the end placed Top 5. Parker Dugan placed 2nd in one of his categories and secured himself a spot in Area 8 Contest taking place next month. This was a major achievement for our FFA students, especially since they are rising up to go against other schools twice our size! But that is not all! Parker also ran for a Chrisholm Trail District Officer Position. Out of 20 students who also competed, he made it to the Top 10, which secured a position for himself on the team. Soon after voting there was a slight problem which led to a re-vote, luckily after the small situation Parker placed Top 4 and was appointed as Secretary. He will now represent Itasca FFA Chapter on the Chrisholm Trail and Officer Team for 2025 – 2026!
