We are so excited to start up our Teacher Appreciation Week series again! We at Paw Print Press recognize all the hard work, effort, dedication, and many other traits that our educators put into their job, and are tremendously grateful for every single thing they do for us. To display our appreciation, our staff will publish stories to include our teachers and express our gratitude for the teachers at Itasca ISD! To begin our series, I would like to share some nice words about my favorite teacher, Mrs. Mears.
Appreciation is such a small word for how I feel towards Mrs. Mears. As someone who has only known her for 2 years, I can only speak positively about her. Nothing wrong can ever come to mind when I think about her. She has shown me many things about life, but mostly God and friends. As someone who tends to struggle with my relationship with God, she’s someone I can always talk to and never judge me for my wrongs.
She is a very patient person with the biggest heart, and she has dreams and ideas for students. She guides those who ask for guidance and helps those who ask for help. She understands everyone, even if she has never experienced what they are experiencing. She taught me that not everyone is who they seem to be, but she does it in a way that never offends the other person; she just kind of opens your eyes to things.
I’ve had multiple problems, both personal and non-personal, and I can’t count all the times that I never told her, because I always did. She gave me a family with the Paw Print Press, she gave me advice, but most importantly, she gave me someone I can trust and put my worries and questions to. So thank you a lot, Mrs. Mears; I am very grateful.
Teacher Appreciation Week this year will be May 5th-May 9th, so make sure to tell your teachers how grateful you are for them!
