Gwendolyn Renee Brown describes herself as “kind, goofy, and caring.” The senior was born August 8,2005 in Hillsboro Tx. She’s the daughter of Lisa and Jason Brown, and also a sister to Elizabeth Brown, who is a former graduate. Gwendolyn or “Gwen” has been coming to Itasca since Pre-K. After school she plans to finish her basics at Hill College, then wildlife biology at Texas State. Her four years at IHS have been spent heavily involved in activities, such as, band, FFA, One Act Play, 4H, Girl Scouts, and NHS. Gwen’s advice to the underclassmen is ,“Do your work and just be nice, and don’t start drama.” Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Chapman because she is nice and has helped do things she’s never done before. She would like to thank her parents and family for getting her this far in life. In 10 years, she sees herself with a good job, married, a nice house with a flowerbed, and a pet crow.
