Hello Itasca, the Paw Print Press would like to introduce Chelsea Lopez as our Wampus Cat of the Week! She is being recognized for her bright, charismatic personality, compassion towards others, and bringing a radiant smile that shines everywhere.

Chelsea is currently a sophomore at Itasca HS. We see all these qualities stand out, and the one who continues to motivate her is Jesus. Always wanting to help others, Chelsea tries her best to treat others the way Jesus would. “The more time I spend with him through listening to worship music, Christian podcasts, reading my bible, and going to church, the more I know how to be good to others.” – Chelsea

A challenge that Chelsea has faced is never feeling seen or heard. Which she says had made her to be more of a “there you are, than a here I am type of person.” So she always tries to make people feel included, along with listening and valuing what they have to say. Thank you for bringing smiles to those around you, Chelsea, and bright energy as a Wampus Cat!
