This week on interviewing our freshmen band members, we interviewed Audrey Blackburn. She is a trumpet and marches in the marching band. however she would like to play the saxophone and the snare drums. She says the best thing about marching is the exercise during practice, and the worse part is the late Friday nights coming home from a football game. Audrey has been in band for four years and is planning to continue band in high school.
Over her four years in band, some of her favorite memories are when her band teacher in 8th grade would welcome her and her classmates in a goofy manner with playing a recorder or electric piano.
