Elizabeth “Beth” Nalley passed away peacefully at the Homestead Nursing Home in Itasca on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Beth celebrated her 91 st birthday on January 25, 2023. She married Joe Nalley who proceeded her in death May 1976. Beth is survived by Pam Nalley Willman and Dale Willman, Patsy Nalley Bishop and Myron Nalley. Grandchildren Sarah Willman (who passed away in 2008), Samantha Willman Wagner and Mike Wagner, Morgan Nalley and John Barrett, Jackie Green, and Joe Nalley. Great grandchildren include Nathalie Willman, Joseph Willman, and Parker Wagner. Several nieces and nephews including Jolynn Mahurin Bailey.

During her time in “Nalley Valley” Beth also enjoyed the many animals’ antics in the neighborhood which mainly belonged to Patsy. Beth was also blessed with the family that she chose which included Bobby and Patty Miller, Ashley Miller and Nikki West. She is also survived by many friends too numerous to name. Beth entered Homestead Nursing Home in 2016 where she quickly became “CEO” (not sure if a vote was taken). She enjoyed overseeing staff and residents. She was blessed with many friends at the Nursing Home who quickly became her family. Beth enjoyed bingo, puzzles, birthday parties, reading and organizing books, Christmas, etc. She was the powerhouse basketball player in March Madness one year where she was high scorer. She even was even awarded Sweetheart at the Valentine Party one year. Beth was a member of the Methodist Church in Itasca.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Methodist Church or Homestead Nursing Home in Itasca.
