Itasca competed hard at the regional track meet in Springtown, TX, on May 2. Having advanced in the area track meet at Rio Vista, in girls’ discus, 100M dash, 200M dash, 800M dash, and district champion in the 4x200M girls’ relay race. Although the team came up short, they persevered through it all! But not all was lost, Christian Enriquez advanced to state in the boys’ 100M dash, placing in 2nd place with an official time of 10.84 seconds! Way to work hard! Itasca will head to Austin on May 14-15! Go cats!
