Itasca Baseball finished its regular season, placing second in the district. Before heading to the playoffs, three consecutive warm-up games were scheduled. The boys won their first warm-up game against Venus, 8-2, on April 23. Then won again against Carter-Riverside, 7-3, on April 24. Unfortunately, they could not get the win in their last playoff warm-up game against Valley Mills on April 25. The team had a great regular season. They even set a new school record for the most wins in a season, with 20, while the previous record was 17 in the 2024-25 season. Way to go, boys! Their bi-district playoff games are scheduled for April 29 and 30, and with a tiebreaker game on May 2, if needed, against the Axtell Longhorns.
