Itasca ISD welcomes Krishton Greer to the district. Coach Greer is from Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Crowley High School in 2018. While in High School, Coach Greer participated in football, baseball, track, and he continued to play football in college. He considers Crowley, Texas his hometown. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University, then later graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2022. Before Coach Greer came to work at Itasca, he worked at a Mercedes-Benz Dealership in Fort Worth. Coach Greer decided to come to Itasca when he heard from one of his old football coaches that there was a job opportunity. Here at Itasca High School, Coach Greer is a teacher for Sped Inclusive Education as his first year teaching. His inspiration to teach and coach comes from aspiring to be a role model and motivator for all of his students and players. Coach Greer enjoys working out and playing the game in his free time. His biggest role model in life is his dad. Coach Greer would describe himself as “funny, intelligent, and handsome.” If he wasn’t a teacher and coach, he would like to be a detective. Some of Coach Greer’s favorite things are seafood, sweet tea, and the movie “My All-American”. Coach Greer’s advice to any high school students would be “Just enjoy it”, and his favorite quote is “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.”
