On 2/24/25 Itasca Junior High had their first track meet of the season! This track meet was held in Maypearl with many Junior High students competing against one another in both field and running events. Faced with nerves in the beginning but soon became replaced with excitement within the first few events taking place. Although we did have a few minor issues in the relays, both boys and girls still managed to make it to the end with hard work and great commitment. Many students and coaches cheering on one another ending with smiles, praise, reassurance, and advice. Itasca Junior High has now gained a view on what to expect in future track meets that will follow and are currently preparing to work harder for their coaches, school, and themselves.
