Next in line for our Staff Spotlights is our Head Editor, Joseph Gurrusquieta! Joseph is currently 19 years old and a senior at Itasca High. He is involved in Paw Print Press (PPP) and the Yearbook.

His favorite thing about being the Head Editor is being able to watch the process of the yearbook slowly come together. One of his most memorable moments from being in Yearbook and PPP is the field trip we recently took to the Fort Worth Zoo!

A fun fact about Joseph is that most colleges he applied to offered him full-ride scholarships! When he’s not busy with Interact Club, Band, NHS Pictures, Student Council, taking pictures, working on the yearbook, or any of the other billions of things he does, he enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and baking.

His role model is his parents because he views them as hardworking people!

To anyone who is considering joining PPP or Yearbook, Joseph’s advice to you is to be committed to what you are joining.

Our staff is highly grateful for Joseph’s respectable leadership skills and ability to maintain a productive environment.
