March 3-7 was Dr. Seuss Week and Read Across America Week! Each day of the week, the students got to dress up following our Dr. Seuss theme for the week!
On Monday, the students got to wear their favorite hats, on Tuesday, they got to wear green to match the theme of the book Green Eggs and Ham, and on Wednesday, they got to wear mismatched clothes or inside out!
On Thursday, they got to wear silly socks to represent the book “ Fox in Socks.” And lastly, on Friday, they got to wear school-appropriate pajamas! Another activity held at the elementary was for the fifth graders to read a book by Dr. Seuss to the younger grade levels! The younger grades got to participate in a Dr. Seuss Coloring contest, in which the fifth graders judged. A photo booth was also set up, and fun treats were handed out. It was great celebrating Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Week!
