Since this week is Teacher Appreciation Week, I went around the school and asked some of our students about their favorite teachers! Here are some of the responses:
Michelle Alvarez – Sophomore – Coach Trammell
“My favorite teacher is Coach Trammell. He’s very supportive and is always there for his students and athletes. One of my favorite memories with him is when we went to Stephenville for cross country, then out to eat at Wingstop.”
Isaias Aguilar – Freshman – Coach Trammell
“Definitely Coach Trammell. He’s a great coach/teacher and always gives good lessons. A favorite memory is when he coached me in basketball.”
Azriel Hernandez – Sophomore – Mrs. Quijano
“I would have to say Mrs. Quijano. She’s pretty close to her students. I just like when we are in her class.”
Elena Mares – Freshman – Ms. Rodriguez
“Probably Ms. Rodriguez. She is always there for me when I need her. My favorite memory is when she gave me a hug when I was crying to her.
Parker Dugan – Sophomore – Mrs. Speer
“My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs.Speer. She makes me laugh and explains the books she reads well. A favorite memory is when she told us about her past.”
Montserrat Hernandez – Sophomore – Mrs. Speer
“Mrs. Speer. She teaches very well and I learn a lot from her. She also brags a lot about me. I just enjoyed this school year with her.”
Landon Adair – Senior – Mr. Middleton
“Mr.Middleton, because he is cool and very nice. My favorite memory is when we had to be at the band hall at 3 am for a band competition.”
