Meet the teacher  Joshua Arrington, or now known as Coach Arrington! His full name is Joshua Arrington, and he teaches Algebra I and Algebra II here at Itasca High school. He was born in Alvin Texas and is 25 years old. Coach Arrington has a wife, Charity Arrington who is one of his biggest supporters. He went to Howard Payne College and graduated in the 2023 year with a degree in Math/Education. The reason he teaches and coaches is to push students to be their best self’s in sports and in the classroom, he relates to his students because when he was in school, he felt teachers didn’t have a real passion to make students the best versions of themselves. He himself grew up in the greater Houston area, Fairfield Texas. While he was in high school he played football and basketball and while he was in college he played Football all years.

Coach Arrington’s advice to his students are, “Enjoy High school while it last, because once it’s gone, it will never be the same.” He describes himself as funny, caring, and respectful. Coach Arrington’s fun fact about himself is that when he was younger he won a beauty pageant for most beautiful eyes. His hobbies are watching sports, cooking/eating, watching movies, and spending time with his family/wife.
