Elsa Joanne Carrillo is a senior at Itasca High School, born on December 8 in Cleburne, Texas, to Molly Quijano and Gerardo Quijano. She is the big sister to siblings, eleven-year-old Lalo and one-year-old Emily. She has attended Itasca since Pre-K.
After graduation, she plans to attend college to study criminal Justice. She is also involved in extracurricular activities, including the band and the police explorer program. Her advice for the underclassmen is “not to stress and turn your work in on time.” Her favorite teacher is Mr. Middleton.
Her role model is her mom, and the people in her life who have made the biggest difference are her friends and teachers. She would like to thank her supportive teachers for getting her this far in life. She is currently unsure of which college she would like to attend. In ten years, she sees herself working as a Forensic Photographer for the FBI.
