This week we’re introducing Justine Trevino! Also known as Coach Trevino, she joined us here at Itasca High School. She teaches Human Growth and Development, and Human services. She also is coaching our Lady Wampus cats as the Volleyball coach.

While in high school she played volleyball and softball, and volleyball in college. She was born in Fort Worth Texas while she grew up in Burleson. She went to Burleson High school, and earned her degree in General Studies at West Texas A & M in 2021.

She describes herself as caring, quiet, and dependable. Her hobbies are watching movies, sports, and shopping. Something unique about her is she also went to college in Pennsylvania for 4 years. What inspires coach Trevino to coach she said in her experience, her own coaches had helped her see that she wanted to help players herself. When asked about what advice she has for her players she said, “Never take anything for granted, because you never know when it will be your last time playing.”
