For this week’s teacher appreciation week, I will be writing a story about my favorite teacher. I have been here for about 3 years, and although there have been a couple of teachers who have inspired me, made me feel welcomed, and most of all, have helped me, this teacher has done all of that. That teacher is Mr.George Loya!
Mr Loya has been my teacher since my sophomore year. He teaches chemistry, physics, and anatomy & physiology. Since I met him, he has never failed to put a smile on my face, no matter how I was feeling. Not only is he a great person, but an even better teacher. I have taken chemistry and physics, and in his class I feel very interested. From learning how a piece of metal can crush because of air pressure, or how a piece of metal shrinks when you put it back in water after it was heated up. He has never failed to make me like learning about subjects I was never really interested in.
What I admire most about Mr Loya is his patience. Some people, including myself, have made things harder than what needs to be, and he still never failed to go over or teach me again. I think every student who has come in contact with him can definitely agree because that is how much of an impact Mr. Loya has on people. I really appreciate him and all the hard work he continues to put in to help his students.
If you see him in the hallways or any teacher, please thank them for all the effort and hard work that they continue to put in to help students learn!
