The Itasca Ministerial Alliance met on November 5, 2022 at 10:00 at Third Day. Those present were: Rose Handy, Third Day; Matt Dugan, Pastor of Central Baptist; James Bouldin, Bethlehem Baptist; Johnny Bates, Pastor of St. John Baptist; and Diane Barnes, Presbyterian.

Meeting was opened with prayer led by James Bouldin.
Financial report showed a balance of $1856.73.

A fifth quarter party was held at Third Day after one football game. The ones scheduled to be at Central Baptist and Methodist were cancelled due to the games being moved to Thursday.
Pastor Matt Dugan had checked on getting turkeys from Wal Mart again. However, they can not give us a grant this year and do not think they can get us 75 turkeys. He checked with other stores. There is a turkey shortage this year. It was decided that we will buy as many as we can and if we can’t get 75 we will get food gift cards to hand out with the boxes. Churches were encouraged to ask their congregations for donations to help pay for these turkeys. Also, it was decided that this year’s give-away will be held at Central Baptist. It will be drive-through again, with cars entering on King Street.

A Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on November 20 at Third Day at 6:00.

Under Church Reports:
Diane handed out fliers for First Presbyterian Hillsboro’s Christmas Concert on Dec. 4 at 6:00.
Central Baptist collected 185 boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Central Baptist will have a Christmas Eve service at 5:30. First Presbyterian Hillsboro will have
one at 6:00.
The Alliance will not meet in December but will meet again on January 7, 2023.
The meeting was closed with prayer led by Diane Barnes.
