Sandra Lorena Diaz-Guzman describes herself as a loyal, determined, and kind person. Sandra, daughter of Maria and Carlos Diaz, was born in Temple Tx, on September 19, 2004, and is currently 18 years old. Sandra has two siblings named Carlos Jr, who graduated from Itasca in 2017, and Cecilia who graduated from Itasca in 2021. Sandra has been attending Itasca since the 2nd grade and plans on attending beauty school to get her Cosmetology license after graduation. Sandra is currently in multiple extracurricular activities including, NHS, A Student Trainer, and Band, and is Head Editor for the Paw Print Press and Yearbook. Sandra’s favorite teacher is Mrs.Mears because she is both a motivating and kind person. Sandra would like to thank her Mom for always being strong-minded and always wanting the best for her. Sandra would also like to thank Alex Andrade, for sticking by her side throughout the years. Sandra advises underclassmen to “Take every opportunity, and to be on top of it all.” Sandra sees herself in 10 years as a successful woman, with a family in their own home.
