Ricky Paul had an award-winning weekend at the 25th Anniversary Texas Gospel Music Excellence Award (TGMEA) in Houston, Texas at the Marriott South Hobby Airport Hotel on February 16-19, 2023.

Multi Award-Winner Ricky Paul performed on Friday night February 17, 2023, at the TGMEA Award Show. He shared his Soulful Country Gospel Music, and the crowd truly enjoyed and loved his country music. Ricky Paul performed two songs, “Mamma Knew How To Pray” and “Just A Country Boy” from his Award Winning project “Just A Country Boy”, which consists of nine uplifting country songs.
Paul, the son of Wilbert and Florence Puckett, is from Tallulah, Louisiana. He now resides in Hillsboro, Texas, but he always makes sure that you know he is from “The Boot” Louisiana. He has been singing soulful country gospel music for more than three decades.
