Itasca would like to introduce Kim Patin to the district. Patin was born in Dallas, Texas. Her hometown was Frost, Texas, and she attended HS there. She is the wife of Shaw Patin, and mother of two kids, Emmaleigh who is 19, and Aj who is 11. Mrs. Patin also has two Doodles, Chiweenie, and a cat. She attended Texas State, and is currently a Paraprofessional in the HS. Patin helps in 8 different classes a day! She describes herself as “busy, caring, and grateful.” This is currently her 5th year teaching. Before coming to Itasca ISD, she worked at Bynum ISD. Patin has chosen Itasca for its black and gold colors on the Wampus Cat. If she wasn’t with our district today, she would go back to office management once more. Something that inspires Patin to teach are the kids. Something unique about Mrs. Patin is she has over a decade of floral experience. A few hobbies she enjoys is crochet and painting. Someone she saw and still sees as a role model is Jesus. Advice she would like to provide to the high school students is, “Manners, respect, and ethics will open ANY door.”
