This week the Paw Print Press would like to recognize Grant Tidwell for his overall academic achievements, readiness, and bright personality.

Grant is a 16- year-old Junior. He takes Honors Algebra II and is on the AB honor roll.  Grant participates in football, track, powerlifting, and baseball and is a two-time GOLF PLAYER OF THE YEAR winner. The junior is considering playing basketball as well. He was also elected as a member of the National Honor Society last year. His extracurriculars include band, welding, and Digital Media.

Staff writer- “What are your three best characteristics?”

Grant- “I’m funny, I’m nice, and I’m cool.”

The junior would also add that he is caring and compassionate.

Grant-  “Whenever you need me I will be there to help.”

 

The last time he was proud of himself was at last Friday’s football game despite the loss. Grant’s advice to anyone is to “never give up on anything!”

The hardest thing he’s ever done was last year’s geometry STARR Test. Grant looks forward to playing football to get him through a long day of school.

His biggest goal for the future is to get better at HVAC, (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning.) Outside of school, Grant is working on improving his weight-lifting strength. He is confident that he will reach his ambitious goals!
