Itasca ISD would like to introduce Tyrone Jermaine Jasper Deckard-Pittman to the district. Mr. Pittman graduated from UT Arlington (The University of Texas in Arlington) Fall 19′. He currently teaches Art and has been teaching for a year. Pittman was born in Killen, Tx. His hometown is Killeen, Tx and went to Killeen HS. While in HS, he would do bowling and choir. Before coming to Itasca, he had worked in marketing (sales), and at Primrose School of Fort Worth West. Something unique about Mr. Pittman is he is ambidextrous, and likes to describe himself as “Calm, old soul, and youthful. A few hobbies he enjoys is exercising, staying active, youthful, and being outside. If Mr. Pittman wasn’t currently teaching he would be in IT or the military. He had chosen Itasca for its small community and wanted to make an impact. His role model as a child and adult is his grandparents from both sides of his family. Tyrone’s favorite food/drink is coconut water, and pistachios. His favorite book an movie, “David Goggins Can’t Hurt Me” and “Coach Carter”. His favorite quote, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
