First home game of the season, theJV girls played at 4:30 and exceeded to 5 innings. Although they took the loss for this game, these girls are working very hard and consistently trying to better themselves as a team whilst preparing for the games ahead. The Itasca Varsity Softball team played after the JV, with Rylee Markwardt pitching the entire 7 innings and striking out about 3 wildcats. This game was all hard work and dedication to their team, lost by 2 points, but the Itasca Lady Wampus Cats held their heads high, along side their coach, Stephen Montes.
