The Itasca High School basketball boys starts off their season opener against the Robinson Rockets. The boys started rough, given that this is their first game of the season, transitioning from football to basketball. In the first quarter, the score was 5-16 with Robinson taking the lead. In the second quarter, Itasca was able to hold them off, able to stay in the game with the score being at 27-32 at halftime. Unfortunately, throughout the 3rd and 4th quarters, they were unable to maintain the momentum and gassed out, trailing 31-45 and 35-66. Despite the loss, they did well for their first game, going against a 4A school at that. Looking forward to seeing what the boys can do in the next games!
