The Wampus Cats varsity boys basketball played their last game before playoffs against the #1 in the district, Rapoport-Meyer. Itasca started the game strong, even leading by a few points at one point. The boys held off, not letting Rapoport take the lead. By halftime, the gap was 5 points. Unfortunately, Itasca could not keep up as Rapoport started making their shots more, falling short against a hard team. The boys fought hard this basketball season, placing 3rd in the district and advancing to the playoffs. Itasca will go up against Graford, which placed 2nd in their district.
