For this week’s wampus cat of the week, we would like to introduce Tatum Abrego! Tatum is involved in varsity volleyball, basketball, softball, and track. Outside of athletics, Tatum plays in the Itasca High School band and is a member of the National Honor Society.
Tatum’s biggest focus right now is on basketball season. Tatum and her teammates are striving to get first in the district this basketball season. Tatum is a determined, hardworking, and kindhearted student, both in the classroom and on the court. What motivates Tatum is her desire to be the best in everything she does. When asked what she does when faced with challenges, Tatum says, “I remind myself that I need to believe in myself and that I can do it.”
