Our Paw Print Press would like to introduce Xavier Aguilar as Wampus Cat of the Week! Xavier has demonstrated his hard work in both photography and on the football field, particularly when it comes to being a leader, defending our ball, and taking initiative.
Xavier is currently a junior at Itasca HS. The motivation that helped him become who he is now was being told to smile and be happy, even if the situation was hard, to always prove and show people he could be someone in life.
We overcome our own challenges, whether it was in the past or present. For Xavier, as a kid, he was bullied, but overcoming this, he learned that no matter what is happening in your life, you should always think about the positive result, and face that nothing will go picture perfect, but hard work can change your life.
The advice that has made a difference in his life was “Don’t let people influence you to be the person you aren’t supposed to be. Be yourself and accomplish your goals.” Thank you, Xavier, and continue to be the Wampus Cat we know.
