New Middle School Softball/Baseball Team

This year at Itasca, we have our very first softball and baseball teams for middle school! The softball team had their first game on February 25, 2026 and the baseball team had their first game on March 12, 2026.

I’ve interviewed a few students about how they feel about the new softball/baseball season for middle school –

Macie Rodriguez – “I feel pretty good about it. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs, but at the end of the day we all work together to be better.”

Tanith Baxter – “I like it. The coaches help me out whenever I need it. It gets me prepared for high school. It also gives me a better chance to get varsity with all of the drills and the coaches and teammates get me motivated.”

Clara Fragoso – “I like it. I was very happy that I had the opportunity to be one of the first girls to be on the middle school softball team.”

Serenity Mozon – “I think its pretty good. I feel like we could do better everyday and get better at hitting.”
