Last Monday, the Itasca Middle School boys’ basketball team played away against Rio Vista. The B Team played the Eagles first. For a moment, the game was tied, making it an intensely played game. Though they didn’t come home with the win, we are still proud of all the effort they put on the court and can’t wait to see the hard work they’ll put into the next game!
At 6 pm, the A Team started the game off with incredible energy, scoring 15 points just within the first two minutes. The game was constantly tied, with the third quarter ending with a score of 33-33. Though the boys sadly fell short in the last few minutes, we are still impressed by their teamwork and hustle.
