LBF or Led By Faith is a faith-based community service club where Everything we do reflects what we believe as Christians, which is being kind, caring, and loving to everyone around us. Lead by Faith is all about putting our beliefs into action. It’s a place where we can grow our faith and make our community a better place at the same time. In this club, you’ll find opportunities to volunteer in different ways. In addition to community service, LBF focuses on spiritual growth through bible studies, which allows a chance for members to deepen their understanding of their faith and explore how it can guide their actions and decisions. The goal is to connect faith with real-world actions in meaningful ways. This club is for everyone who would love to live out their values and help others. When the officers of LBF were asked what they hoped to accomplish through this club, this was their response: President Anniya Crooks response was “To grow closer to God and strengthen my faith while also planting seeds in other students, while also giving back to my community.”Vice President Chelsea responded, “Something that I hope to achieve is to feel more confident as a follower of Christ, knowing that I have a group of support and like-minded people around me.” Treasurer Aubrey Mayberry responded, “I would love to achieve a closer relationship with God, learn more about the Bible, and use what I learn to help bring others closer to God. Historian Alexis Stroud responded, “for my relationship to be closer with God”“ Assistant Historian Matthew Bown responded, “probably more knowledge about the Bible and to connect with people who we aren’t close with and make friends and just come together and worship God.” Secretary Elena Mares responded, “To share and show all the love that God gave us. And encourage people to have a safe space with us. No matter what they think, and to offer an ear whenever they need something.”
