For our first club spotlight, we are introducing the Interact club! The Interact club is a community of kids who come together and engage in community service through leadership, teamwork, and positivity! To learn more about the club itself, I asked Interact’s secretary, Miss Anniya Crooks a couple of questions. I continued to ask Anniya about the purpose and her goals in mind for interact club. She says,”Interact club is a club where we come together for the community, showing love and support to everyone.” Her goal is for interact to be a place where everyone feel’s welcomed, and everyone who doesn’t have a voice gets a chance to express creative ideas, wants, and needs!
Then I asked Vice president Chelsea Lopez what her goal as vice president and what she’s thinks the purpose of interact is. Her response was, “One of my goals as the vice president of Interact club is to put the opinions of others before my own, so that we can make fundraisers that everyone will enjoy. Another goal that I have is to make sure that I stick to my word and do what I say I’ll do. I’ve set for myself that ties into an officer goal is to truly get to know everyone a part of the organization, so that it is easier for me to understand everyone!” I then asked what she thought the purpose of Interact is and she said, “I believe the purpose of the Interact club is to make meaningful impacts around our area and beyond to truly show kindness to others and spread joy through community service.”
We are so proud of these students and are excited to see what that have planned for us in the future!
