Sophia Savala is a Freshman part of our Itasca High School Band. She currently plays the trumpet. When asked what instrument she would like to play, she stated, ” I would definitely pick percussion because they have really cool parts.” Her favorite thing about marching band is getting to play on the field and getting the opportunity to put on a show. Her least favorite thing about marching has to be the bugs and the weather. She is currently focused on Band and isn’t in any extracurricular activities. She has been in the band since 6th grade and doesn’t have any memorable moments from band.
