For this week’s Senior Spotlight, we would like to introduce Andres Moreno! Andres was born on July 12th of 2007, in Gainesville, Florida. His parents are Anabel Ranger and Roberto Martinez. Andres is 18 years old and the oldest son of his younger siblings. He has a nine-year-old little brother named Diego, and a five-year-old little sister named Carmen. Andres has attended Itasca since Pre-K.
Throughout high school, Andres has participated in band and welding. After high school, he plans on becoming a welding helper. His advice for underclassmen is, “Stay to yourself, focus on yourself, and don’t be concerned or worried about other people.”
His favorite teachers are Mr. Loya and Mr. Patterson. When asked who his role model is in life, Andres says, “My dad because he showed me a lot of stuff, and how to become a better person.” When asked who has made a difference in his life, Andres says his parents, and he would like to thank them for getting him this far in life. Ten years from now, Andres sees himself being a welder in the pipelines, making lots of money.
