Today our senior spotlight shines on Valerie Younger! Valerie was born on December 20th, 2006. She is currently 18, the daughter of Albert Younger, and sister to Alanna Brandsetter.
She has attended Itasca since Pre-K and plans to become a zookeeper after graduation. Advice she would like to give to our underclassmen: “Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it.” Her favorite teacher is Mr. McGarvey.
Her role models are her friends and dad. Her dad has also been the one who has filled the spot in making a difference in her life. She would like to thank everyone who has made a positive impact and helped her get this far in life. She plans to go to Texas A&M University for her choice of college. In ten years, Valerie sees herself happy and taking care of animals.
